Vince Staples has released a video for his E-40 collaboration ‘FUN!’. which appears on his FM! project, also out today.

Directed by Calmatic (Anderson .Paak, Khalid, The Internet), the new visual finds a kid using Google Street View to walk through the streets of Long Beach, Los Angeles. Watch it above.

Speaking about the album, FM! plays like a love letter to the West Coast, and as such, enlists many prominent voices to play a supporting role. Appearances from Jay Rock, E-40, Earl Sweatshirt, Kamaiyah, Kehlani, Tyga, Ty Dolla $ign, Buddy, and Vonnie help round out the effort with a sense of local flavor. The new album features production from Kenny Beats (Rico Nasty, Key!) and Hagler and it prominently includes veteran L.A. radio host Big Boy. The artwork is by Japanese designer Verdy.FM! is not Vince Staples’ next “official” album. An Instagram post teasing the release described it as a “special project dedicated to my biggest fan and supporter since day one”: himself. FM! was recorded during time off from working on what will be his next LP. In that sense, it’s similar to Prima Donna, the EP released in the year between his major label debut Summertime ’06 and Big Fish Theory.

Still, Vince Staples’ FM! is a solid little project, though its brevity certainly leaves us wanting more. Vince seems focused, showcasing a honed-in chemistry over the crisp production. Peep the eleven-track album below and let us know what you think.
