Previously, we have already talked about Coachella and the documentaries on Netflix. Today, the popular streaming service has decided to combine the two things! Homecoming, a documentary film dedicated to Beyoncè and in particular to her live performance at the Coachella Festival 2018 has just been released on the platform. Here are all the details on this incredible production.

Beyoncè’s performance was judged to be so spectacular that it became a film. Queen Bey’s Coachella set was iconic for many reasons: It marked the first time a black woman had headlined Coachella in the festival’s history and was punctuated by cameos from JAY-Z and Solange. Most notably, Bey was also joined by Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland for a legendary Destiny’s Child reunion, during which the trio performed “Lose My Breath,” “Say My Name,” and “Soldier.”

The name of the documentary is the same as the support fund, created by Beyoncè, for deserving students. This work traces the entire performance and also many backstage moments, going from the scenes of the actual show up to the talks about the black cultural movement.

You can check the trailer above or stream it now on Netflix.
