Common is back, featuring one of the most expressive R&B artists of the moment, Daniel Caesar.

Nearly two years since his last album, the Chicago lyricist returns with ‘HER Love’, that serves as a sequel to 1994’s classic ‘I Used to Love H.E.R.’ Over a previously unreleased J Dilla beat, Common pens a love letter to Hip-Hop, while cleverly shouting out today’s rappers including A$AP Rocky, Cardi B, Lil Uzi Vert, and Kendrick Lamar.

Through the struggle, you taught us to Nipsey Hussle / That’s why we all love you / I’m forever yours to the tik tok / I’m still talking ’bout you, hip-hop.

Additionally, Common has debuted a powerful video for the song, which features Dwele and celebrates his love of hip-hop and black women.
