Hip-hop’s new wave of female rappers in the last few years has brought with it a slew of femcees each coining a different “Doll” image: Kash Doll, Cuban Doll, Dream Doll, and Asian Doll have each established their places in music since their debuts with their own unique styles of rap. Today, the release of Kash Doll’s debut album Stacked marks the coronation of a new queen of the dollhouse.

The Republic Records artist’s debut LP is the follow-up to her Brat Mail mixtape, which was released on March 2018.

The Detroit-bred rapper’s latest project is comprised of 17 tracks, including the single “Mobb’n.” Guests featured on the album include Lil Wayne, Big Sean, Summer Walker, Teyana Taylor, Trey Songz, and Lougotcash.

Kash focuses in on telling her story, maintaining her eclectically raw form that remains both motivational as well as playful. From sharing details surrounding her previous stint as an exotic dancer and more, the female rapper doesn’t play any games in terms of establishing her hip-hop queendom. Her cadence, flow, and poetics all come together virtuously, with Kash aptly sharing her story as opposed to relishing in materialistic achievements.
